Hot on the heels of yesterday’s coverage of 3UK’s MiFi is a second instalment, this time from AdonisDemon and UKGadgeteer.
AdonisDemon gave us a sneak peek yesterday, but today offers a little more in the form of a closer look at the hardware,
“The device itself is very curvaceous and small, the front is a brushed metallic look, but is plastic whilst the back itself is shiny white plastic. We can see here it’s made by Huawei and the model number is E5830 and is WiFi certified – good good.â€
Testing the service also went well as his tweets on video streaming and multiple users testify.
UKGadgeteer has also got hands on with the device and has been looking at the various types of gadgets you can get connected with,
“One key use of this device is for Wi-Fi only devices, such as the iPod Touch, the Nokia Internet Tablets, PSPs etc. and certainly all these devices gain extra features with connectivity, and it’s very easy to just turn the device on and be able to access the internet anywhere (with signal).â€
If you’d like even more on 3’s MiFi, Ben from The Really Mobile Project has also uploaded a few images.
