Marianne, over at Busy Making Other Plans spent Saturday as one of our eyes on the ground, surfing the stands at Gadget Show Live 2009. Along with our other faithful gadgeteers she was challenged to find the gizmos that she rated as the most bizarre, most useless, most desirable and most innovative on offer. Judging by the colourful photos Marianne has taken, there was certainly no shortage of weird and wonderful creations to fit the bill!

“What I found to be the most bizarre aspect of the show was the multiple stands for different companies selling electric cigarettes, such as the E-Lites. Just say no.”

Not only did Marianne get to spend the day with us, checking out the very desirable gadgets, she was also entertained by the Gadget Show presenters hosting a live show in the Sony Super Theatre.

“For the first time in my life I was a VIP, which meant I got to sit on a blue seat instead of a green one. Awesome.”
