Although I was unfortunately unable to attend Mobile Geeks of London myself, we did send Simon, a member of the 3mobilebuzz collective who we rarely let out of his cage. After some detailed reporting back and a cereal bowl worth of cards, we may be sending him into the wilds a little more. Good work!

Taking place in the splendidly bedecked All Bar One on New Oxford Street, the evening was enjoyed by all, despite the busy room creating a somewhat oppressive atmosphere. This ironically made the only place to gain fresh air outside with the smokers. Nevertheless the chat flowed and connections were made.

We need to give a mention to Ant UK of Fresh Plastic who was present and as pleasant as ever and looking forward to the arrival of the Skypephone S2 come mid-August. He certainly isn’t alone either if the 3mobilebuzz inbox is anything to go by.

Also we’d like to name check James of Nitro-Mobile who develops bespoke apps for devices and dazzled Si with on the finer details of this. All intriguing stuff.

Finally, a big, big thank you to James Whatley of Whatleydude and SMS Text News fame, for putting Mobile Geeks of London on and pulling it all together. Cheers.
