Over at Sonflower’s Log, Eeyore (though we presume it’s not THE Eeyore, alas) has announced the introduction of mobile broadband to the titular ship, a narrowboat where Eeyore and family live. Eeyore describes them as an “‘ordinary’ family…As near as we can get to 2.4 children.�

Checking the 3G network map, Eeyore has found “that the coverage has improved no end since my last sortie into the north Midlands and the Shropshire Union�, though there is none in Froghall quite yet. The main worry Eeyore has is “getting a signal inside the steel tube that is a narrowboat� as the non-waterproof dongle may not appreciate being stuck outside a window, dangling over the river! Small, clear, plastic bags are always handy in these situations Eeyore, or you could try to experiment with Ant’s ‘Blu-Hack’.
