Over at Alan Williamson’s blog, Alan has published a ‘first look’ at his trial 3 USB modem. A firm believer in browsing the internet using a laptop with a good sized screen, Alan describes the USB modem, making note of the useful extension cable that comes with it for when you’re running out of space for USB devices. “Installation is a breeze” according to Alan, finding that the software automatically installed and he was able to get online within minutes without rebooting his laptop. Though Alan said he originally felt cynical about the USB modem, “I can say after just one weekend, I am in love!” Always nice to hear…
