Frank Meehan is Director and GM of handsets and applications for Hutchinson, the company that owns 3 and he has been in contact with Alan Williamson, via email to discuss the 3 Skypephone.

Alan has had a pair of 3 Skypephone’s on trial since before their release and has been posting regularly on his experience with them (read them here, here and here). As a result of this, although impressed with the phone, Alan did have a few issues he wanted addressing and Frank was kind enough to respond. Not only that, but he also allowed the exchange to posted on Alan’s blog. This interaction led Alan to state that “Frank was wonderfully open … and it is exchanges like these that make me warm to 3 as a company and give them back as much feedback as possible so we can benefit from their increased dedication to bring the internet to the masses.”
