Hot the heels of Alan Williamson’s round up of a week with the 3 Skypephone comes Gerrymoth’s own reaction to spending one quarter of a month in 3 Skype mobility. And he likes it!

Originally comparing his 3 Skypephone to some of his other devices, Gerrymoth felt that this may have been unfair, but then asked himself the question - is it? This sparked a minor epiphany, after stating that ‘Skype calls work great’ and that Skype Chat is even better, Gerrymoth went on to point out that the 3 Skypephone could do all the same basic things as his more specialised, high-end device.

The only real problem that Gerrymoth had, arose from him giving his handset to his 10-year-old daughter. Quickly getting to grips with the phone (her first mobile) the result was a constant barrage of calls mostly involving singing that led Gerrymoth to confiscate the device for the sake of sanity. That said he’s not all bad, promising to return it if she is good.
