As the buzz resounds on into the evening those exposed to the handsets continue to post their initial reactions.

Alan Williamson was one of the few to get his hands on a trial device today and has been gently easing the phone in, as he prepares to give the little fella a full workout later in the week. His article ‘3’s Skypephone Launched’ commends the forward thinking of 3 for putting into action and bringing to market a product that genuinely gives Skype the beginning of realising its ambition of allowing the entire world to speak to one another for free. This, he points out, is in a climate where similar brands have previously sought to block the facility of VoIP.
